I work in advertising as a copywriter and occasionally (especially in the concept phase), I’ll use generative AI to create images (then usually layout with my own copy in Photoshop) so that I can give something to my art director that reflects the idea I want. I trust my art director to take my rough idea and produce an original design that we can show clients. AI images are never the final product if you’re a professional… and they likely can’t be copyrighted.
