I hope your conversation wasn’t a serious attempt to prove that ChatGPT is or could be conscious. From a technical perspective, if you understand how language models like GPT work, it’s clear that consciousness isn’t possible. These models are simply very advanced at predicting the next word or sequence of words based on probability.
