I love that your take on this is is that it's more of a human problem in this case, rather than jumping on the media AI fear-mongering bandwagon ignoring important nuance and context.
Both you and the media don't know what this person's actual chat logs were with chatGPT- But the media is making the assertion that AI gave him advice to take bromide in a medicinal context, you're just asking the audience to consider that it could have very well not been the case. Well done.
