I feel for the family and friends. It’s a tragic loss that could have been avoided. AI programmers should have help line/resources and programmed halts no differently than social media has if you search certain things. It’s definitely a new territory. However the firearm being accessible should never have been. Parents need to firm parent. Shoot back when cell phones only had talk and text I wasn’t allowed to go in my room with the device and close the door. Computer use was either at the dining table, living room couch or in the computer room with the door open for monitoring. Parents just need to set firm boundaries. There’s harmful stuff not just on the streets but within your own home. Growing up my parents even had firewalls set up that blocked certain sites without a password they set.
