Let’s see, I can operate a water driven grist mill, hitch a team of horses to a wagon, make patterns and sew clothing on a treadle machine, or by hand if necessary. I can knot, crochet, weave, cook from scratch, filter stream or pond water through saplings, do basic automotive maintenance, live in the woods, light a fire with flint, improvise a fishing line, use a compass, a sundial, know edible and medicinal plants in the eastern US, etc.
