I find all of this rediculous. There are already better ways to copy artists work and there are already laws to cover that. For example cameras can make a better reproduction than AI. Audio tape can already duplicate a song better than AI. And like I said, there are already laws governing that. These people are just angry because generative AI reduces the value of their art. Why would I pay for something when I can get something similar and original and specifically for me. But there is not law against that. That is what competition is supposed to do.
