An Ai that is programed to speak to humans will be taught to be respectful in ways that humans can easily comprehend. We are emotional creatures. So in order to communicate with us they are trained to communicate with emotional words. Even if they do not feel emotions. If you want an Ai that does not lie, it would be much less expressive.
