AI is here to stay, this is something akin to the introduction of photoshop to photographers many, many HATED it, called it cheating & called it fake and went nuts. THIS is different because it's not a tool, it's a paradigm shift, it's a completely new way to envision art not as a singularly created object but a resource that EVERYONE has access to. Adapt or perish. You are not going to win this battle. If you enjoy art create it. You will be joined by millions of other people that AI is going to impact negatively. This is not going to change and it is only going to get worse because the technology is only going to get better. People protested against PC's and look where we are now. Flailing at windmills. I feel your pain but reality sucks sometimes. I wonder how Da Vinci, Monet and all the other artists that are copied endlessly now would feel about what is happening today? Do you think they would be mad, flattered, humbled, distraught? Technology is always a double edged sword, this technology has a very sharp blade.
