The point of ai is that the rich can finally kill off the majority of the population which has long been their dream.
You see to steal the labour of masses of people they need masses of people, but that has always put a limit on their evil and excess because those masses would eventually revolt. Alwity ai and automation they hope they can steal the labour of machines and simply get rid of the masses. So yeah you'll be dead and gone, poisoned by the water you drink or something similar.
