Initially, I was hoping AI would fail. I am a programmer and currently any sector outside AI and Defense is seeing wage declines due to too many programmers and not enough jobs. My thinking was because all the investor dollars were flowing to AI. However if it fails now, these tech firms will layoff programmers and further saturate the job market. And should the "ultimate AI" appear, then I'll be out of job too. So...yeah...no win situation.
