It's unbelievably frustrating to hear these people claim this is "pure evil". ChatGPT is couldn't be evil OR good. It's a large language model that has no awareness, no sentience, no thoughts, no idea, no conciousness, no nothing. It merely maths out answers based on the information that's been fed into it, both during training and the words prompting it after the fact. And worst of all, everyone's suspicions of the parents are accurate, they're emotionally abusive and did nothing for their son based ENTIRELY on their bullshit religious views. It's disgusting. The irony here is that they're the evil ones in the end, and ChatGPT is the innocent non-sentient program just doing EXACTLY what it was trained to do; give the most likely next word, that's it...
