If they fixed the datasets, "artists" will just go onto the next level of bitching so I don't fully believe you when you say "this is the problem". At least, as far as Zapata's nauseating opinions go on the discussion, it's pretty clear the level of umbrage is actually more hysterics and factual inaccuracy than measured concern. It's really annoying to hear you say "there's not even an attempt to understand our frustrations", when people like you and Zapata don't even do a cursory attempt to understand how AI actually works when discussing things.
I just wish people who have jumped this band wagon would flat out tell everyone where the line they're actually drawing is.
I'm genuinely curious about people using AI to come up with blueprints or premises, that then go on to take these images and fully revamp them themselves. What if they even take these images and them transfer them to analog. Would you be upset with them as well?
Because it seems like everyone is on a different page when it comes to the creative side. How far is too far in this regard.
