I'm very much PRO AI art and consider it a creative endeavor. But the very idea someone is trying to sell AI art physically at an art convention is pretty insane to me. There are a LOT of asterisks about the usage of AI art. Non-commercial self use is probably my biggest commandment on it. And trying to sell it as if it's *yours* at a convention is breaking just about every rule to make AI art a fair medium. When the court said that no one owns the art that comes out of AI tools, I had no choice but to agree. This means you can't sell it, at least not in a traditional sense. Art alleys are meant for art that the artist owns. The AI artist (or prompter as they're called now) does not own his art. It's very much the equivalent of buying out the neighbors stall and selling it under your name.
So despite me being pro AI. This is very much a scam in my eyes, still.
