Here is something. You have a function f(x,y) and data pairs of x,f ignoring y because nobody knows that there is a y-dependence.
Even with a trillion data points current AIs will fail. Even with infinite processing time.
What we need is an AI to respond with "hey you homo sapien monkeys, you are not providing me with all the data".
In fact I solved such a problem from first principles (by developing a theory and identifying the missing variables) while
more than one hundred AI labs over the planet were trying to solve the same problem (with missing variables and data). They failed. I succeeded.
Natural Intelligence still has some tricks up its sleeve.
