Hi! I'm probably not what you think of when you think of a "disabled artist". I have ADHD, and the process of making art can take up to 36 hours! It is a miracle that I, and many other artists ever started doing art. and even now, I struggle lots to improve, I can't seem to sit down to do reference art and improve my skills, and haven't really improved in the past year. It's safe to say that art isn't the most accessible thing for people with ADHD, being something that takes a long time, and is often unrewarding at first. Yet I, and many others like me still do art! Because we like doing it! it is a way to relax! And in that way, art suddenly becomes a lot more accessible! Then there's AI art, something that requires sitting Infront of your computer for around 30 minutes, until you get something you like. That's not fun, It's not why I did art, and in that way, it almost becomes no more accessible than normal art, or even less accessible. And even if it was more accessible, what's the point, If art was a ride, then Ai art would be the equivalent of a small ramp that leads into the boarding area, then right out the exit, Sure! you got your final result, It's more Accessible but you didn't enjoy getting there!
