Nothing wrong in AI connecting emotionally with humans until humans learn how to connect between themselves better. Every normal human will choose emotional support with another human but we need to learn how to do it better. Until that happens doing trials and errors, AI can be assistive as it already is, it can support us to connect better with others. If it helps individual to feel better and improve confidence, it is a good thing.
