The idea that AI needs to be used because people are "creatively disabled" is insulting on so many levels to so many people. It’s insulting to people that have to overcome physical adversity every day of their lives. And it completely and utterly undercuts what it is to be an artist. How much time and effort it takes to hone a craft. I’m sick of all this cope and excuses for using the most obvious of crutches. People have conflated using AI as a means as a shortcut instead of actually practicing and becoming better.
They’re actually hurting themselves by doing this.
