My friend is an accountant. He was let go last year. Why? Much of the accounting in the firm can be done with AI. It cuts down on labor time. 5 accountants ,down to one that is good at using AI. Paralegals getting cut as well. Bank tellers getting wiped out. Leaders from around the world know what is happening. They have a secrete plan for people that will not be working. There will be 50% unemployement in the US. Other countries even worse. Canada has already reached more than 10% in some cities. The US is only 4.6 which is very low but not sustainable. The new factories will all be high tech and hire less people but at higher wages due to the skills needed. No more uneducated line workers with union wages. It will be highly educated young people that really know AI technology and techs that repair robotics.
