In order for "AI" to evolve itself I question how that can be done without "desire". In order for the machine (inanimate) to pursue a fulfillment of its "needs" for advancement as programmed; in effect we are accrediting it with an animate pursuit of it's own goals. Which could also be labeled if a human did it as a fulfillment of a desire. This means we are accrediting an inanimate machine with be able to fulfill its own (built in as it may be) desire. Yeah; I don't know if I would trust a machine to value we humans, the "less intelligent" as necessary. If they were in charge I most certainly wouldn't be able to speak my mind about them either, that's something to be concerned for everyone it seems to me. Hope most people can see the problem. Elon warned us too.
