That’s the dumbest take on artists I’ve ever seen. ‘Born with blue blood’? ‘Born with a gift’? If that’s one’s excuse to use AI then they admit to being the weakest willed person alive. Being an artist has nothing to do with having a gift. It’s 1% talent and 99% hard work. Sure. You can have a slight advantage, like some people having a beautiful voice, or being good at sports, but all that means nothing if you’re lazy and don’t put in the work. On the other hand, you can become the best artist in the world without an ounce of talent. All it takes is the work: learning the fundamentals, learning to observe, learning techniques, learning about colours, about shading, anatomy,… it’s hard work that takes years to learn and a lifetime to master. What this person says is: ‘I don’t want to do the work. I want the cheapest and easiest route to make money. I can’t handle obstacles in my life. I’m weak’. I have no respect whatsoever for such people.
