The thing with AI is that a 100% ethical model is probably not possible anymore. Also the problem with AI images getting fed to AI for training is going to result in more and more blandness or more and more errors. Studies about that already exist.
I can't think of AI as a tool, atleast not complete image generators, but I'm too far into the artists bubble and got many negative views with that and don't understand how you can just take stuff that was probably stolen and mash it together to get something new. Even though the process how artists create art with references is similar, but the special view of the artist doesn't exist with AI. It's, how a blog entry fittingly called it, "the fetizisation of the idea".
Overall: I want to draw and paint myself, but AI just kills my vibe sadly, because I not have a really high self esteem. Also AI art got better so fast, so I can't seem to catch up to it in any way, which annoys me...
