This sounds more of an issue with said moderator then AI, it’s just unfortunate that the AI is taking more of the blame. While it’s a shame how AI art gens have been used I feel instead of trying to ban it we should strive for understanding it to be used more like a tool then a replacement. As a tool it can be incredibly valuable, two immediate uses that come to mind is backgrounds, or perhaps use for tweening for 2D animations. Yes it is gonna replace some jobs, and unfortunately that is something that just happens, it’s shit but life IS fair, it doesn’t care who you are it will fuck you over just the same. But something we can do is try to force companies/individuals to use this new tool responsibly, have them declare the image is generated and not done by an artist, or have repercussions if they lied about having an artists do something. (As well as variations in regards to other media, think videos, literature, music)
