Lol, why? Seems we should slow them down. Not let them keep doing whatever they want.
The problem is the oligarchy, not the technology. If the Rich weren't so eager to fire their humans who have likely been with them for quite a while, To enrich themselves probably wouldn't have a problem.
I think the problem is the culture in the executive class. I mean they could keep the same amount of employees and cut their hours down to like, I don't know 3 days a week.
But planning for redundancy is never been their strong suit.
And hay... Even China has regulations on there AI companies.
Ours just suck, and can't do it with out safety, people or anything other than profit in mind.
Universal income won't solve the problem it will just allow the system to keep chugging along the rich getting richer.
I think basic necessities like food health care, survival needs should be made without interruption, but if you want money get a job.
If you can't get a job and all your basic necessities are made make some art.
