tbh I don't see it as silly. If A.I. is a tool, as everybody states rn, then he was the artist who used a tool to make that picture. Also to make it you have to give instructions on what you want, make adjustments, so there are artistic decisions behind it, whoch we normally label it as "art director", so I kinda agree with him.
