Our politicians suck. What would be so bad about AI taking over if it did a better job?
Also, if you measure yourself as successful in an abusive system, then that's nothing to be proud of. Everyone knows our system sucks and needs to improve. Any system in which abundance for everyone would cause economic collapse is stupid. We shouldn't hold onto that old system if a new paradigm opens up.
