I'm two minutes in and my thoughts, few and far between, are like splitting the atom. A mistake, but if we don't then someone else will.
I'm a maintenance technician, right now, and the people who I work with don't seem to understand. No, AI will not be able to do what we do, at the moment, working with the machines we work on. But later those machines will be replaced with ones that don't need human operations or intervention and not only are our jobs gone, so are the operators jobs. We should be investing in time travel, if it was possible, to go back, instead of pushing everyone towards a cliff.
