a centuries old tried and true method of maintaining control over creations is to build in dependency: if AI could somehow be built to be dependent upon humans for its existence, it stands to reason that its logic centre would never put humans at risk as it would mean its own demise. at present, AI cannot source its own data and it cannot function without input data, it has to be fed data by humans, perhaps thats a starting point
