In the case of Angel AI and a lot of other analog horror I’ve seen. You gotta remember people don’t always have money to hire an artist HOWEVER with their AI content they were able to get some attention and drive some revenue and use that art ai as a jumping off point with the goal of hiring on artist one day, basically they used AI art to get their foot in the door but the artist is what’s you got keep them going. It’s like writing cheap fan fiction but maybe one day that fan fiction caught the eye of the of an agent and they reached out to them saying “I think you’ve got potential. Do you have anything that isn’t fan fiction?”
