Here's the good news, self driving trucks will fail, and those who invest in them will be bankrupt. Why? Due to the fact that there is no driver, any accident, whether a result of the truck or just basic physics and other poor drivers will result in HEAVY lawsuits. What jury wouldn't award a hefty amount of money to a person who's hurt or worse against a company that NEGLECTED responsibility by not having a human operator in order to save money? Trucks with loads are heavy and only human operators that have the forward projection experience of the road can respond in time. Thats my take anyway
