You could have easily tested the algorithm by switching the two men’s positions - sit the black guy at the bottom and have the white guy standing.
And your language is not correct. This isn’t about racist machines, it’s about not having enough non-white programmers, and white programmers not making the effort to make their algorithms inclusive.
