If humanity has almost 90% of it's 8 billion population unable to secure work to make a paycheck to buy things and survive? That is 7.2 BILLION people forced into abject poverty. History has already shown us, and in many ways today, the people who have wealth are perfectly find leaving those other people in abject poverty. It was only the emergence of the middle class did any real social momentum be given to the poor to get out of poverty. Once the rich get control of the economical ladder again, They will not be as willing to allow the plebs to climb it again.
Not only that. Who is buying all the "crap" being made by these AI systems endlessly and with endless growth?
