Dave. Right on! FWIW, the end of needing programmers to make computers behave was first published a short time after FORTRAN first came out. Seems that some thought that things would be so simple that well educated people would be able to make the computers behave on their own. I too made my career disproving this lovely sounding (to those who have to pay programmers!) idea false. ChatGPT will simple create programmers who can use it to further their programming needs. I needed to learn at least 7 languages, various operating systems, and other lovely paradigms of computer science over my career. Cheers.
