I think the unfortunate truth is that people having been faking things since you could cut out a face from a picture and paste it on the body in a nude magazine. As technology gets better, this will only become more prevalent and problematic. Unless the world ends first, there is no chance that we won't reach a point where you choose a picture of a person and realistic deepfaked porn of them is auto-generated for you to pretend you are fucking them in VR. We can try to slow its approach, but as long as sex-drives exist, it's inevitable.
