I wish someone in the Bernie camp understood what AI really is, and what isn't real about that buzz term. Automation is the threat. AI isn't possible using the current tech stack. The existential, and actual threat, most immediately relevant, is not simply the crash of human labor value. It is the rapidly emerging ability for these media companies to achieve "real-time" generative media. This mini digital arms race is winner take all, and global nuclear arsenal in scale. The first to achieve it can shape any, or ALL data in real time, before it gets to the consumer, as a middleman service.
