Yeuch. $55000 a year per CHILD and not even a real teacher to learn basic reading, writing and math. How are they even going to make sure that the kids are actually doing their work and staying on task and learning anything?
Want to know how to solve the teacher shortage without AI? Pay a proper wage to teachers, let teachers discipline children properly, have admin that back teachers properly on disciplining students and grading, stop bringing in admin that constantly undermine teachers' authority, give into parents, force teachers to apologize to parents when they shouldn't have to. Stop forcing teachers to compromise their integrity by changing students' grades, changing permanent records changing report cards, canceling deserved punishments and passing students along when students have NOT earned that, and the BIGGEST one? STOP forcing teachers to put up with disrespect to them, disrespect to their classroom, theft and breakages of items they bought with their own money and disrespect to other students that actually want to be there!! You do all this, Anton, and I can tell you right now, you'll have the teachers coming right back in droves. Until then... why on Earth would they??!!
