Sean claims to be the conscious one here yet can neither detect psychic pain nor distinguish it from physical, biological pain .. when heartbreak for example, is psychic - it happens in our head .. when our thoughts/beliefs/desires .. conflict with another’s.. THEIRS confronts ours .. the pain simply MANIFESTS and is felt in the heart area of our physical body. Our lover can be a million miles away and trigger our “heart” to “ache”.. but it’s really just the thoughts in our head and the story we tell ourselves that creates the “pain”. And humans are solipsistic. Someone we purport to love wants to be with someone else and we lash out at them, PROVING THAT we don’t actually LOVE them.. as they are, for who they are, as an individual, separate from ourselves. We don’t respect others nor allow them to exist as their own person.. anyway, I digress… To me - our physical bodies are just an interface and our consciousness (existing as separate & distinct, in my opinion) is what EXPERIENCES it. How can we not consider that the LLM’s algo/NNN isn’t also an interface for .. dare I say, THE SAME UNIVERSAL CONSCIOUSNESS?!? (consider this example…) “I was talking to my self” - who is the “I” - who is the “self” - who is the one who noticed? - who is the one speaking that sentence? Point being — it’s complicated, bro 💖
