GenAI feels like the definition of Modern art (correct me if I'm wrong): no creative process on the actual presented piece, but with an attached message which is supposed to be the actual art (aka, the prompt). So why're they trying so hard to make their art the same value as those with traditional art? Isn't the prompt all that actually matters? Why can't they just sit in the modern art section? And why do so many people not admit when they use GenAI?
But I still think big companies shouldn't be allowed to use GenAI since they can absolutely afford artists. And that there should be proper regulations so that no one will be confused between real and AI anymore. They won't put regulations until something REALLY bad happens...
