Not just the "working class" Bernie, most so called "knowledge" worker and other white collar jobs will come under intense pressure in the near future from AI. The difference is these highly professional jobs like college professors and radiologist have powerful groups protecting them, e.g. the AMA. However, this will only apply for a fairly short time as money will be involved. Honestly, AI today could do the job Bernie and other members of Congress do more effectively. Many highly paid people in media will be gone in 10 years and that's probably a good thing. Ironically, some of the working class may hang on much longer than many "professionals". Think floor nurses, CNAs, mental health workers, plumbers, electricians , human service workers ect., all safe from AI for the next 20 years or so due to a lag in robotic technology.
