it looks like living in denial. Devin failed for sure.. it was scam. but quoting that and denying what happed after devin is just likw walking into oblivion. There are many many developers who work and depend on writing repetitive code . what about them. An expert programmer can certainly use AI as a tool and speed up. infact speed up devlopment by atleast 20 times. AI wont ask back all the requirements from the client.sure but lot of mediocre developers also wont ask all the requirements, and they had to redo the coding with each additional requirement set. how about about AI is given those additional requirements and do the task. AI takes 2 min for any addiotional requirements and develoiper will take a week. jury is out. expert programmers can become millionaires and medicore programmers who had been living on software for last 20 - 25 years will be obsolete.
