I understand being lonely, but I'll never understand how talking to a robot is supposed to help with that. At best you're just talking to yourself, because you've shaped it to be all the things you want it to be. It doesn't think or feel, none of the things it "says" come from a place of compassion or respect. It can't care for you, or anything else. It isn't a someone.
