The fear I think is most/more about the weird "utopia" that all these tech gurus think it's going to create where "no one has to do anything." That's just pure naivety. It's another tool requiring massive amounts of infrastructure and resources to run. It'll do some cool things, and some terrible things.
Right now AI can just be a delegation machine. Delegate all the things to AI agents.
If countries and elites don't decide to start a bunch of wars over it.
