The problem isn't ai, but rather people/companies seeing a money grab in it or not being honest they used ai in the creation of a work.
Why this video is kinda absurd for me: ai will not create something new. So basically it's just copy pasta with some modifications due to randomness. Therefore i think nightsade is okay if you want to protect your art, but it makes no sense to create art only to poision ai. The core problem once again is capitalism, people just consume blindly, companies want to make maximum profits. In the future it could be the same as with fair trade coffee or shirts: consumers, politics and companies are required to make a change and bring awareness. It could be easily possible to force companies get their data sources right and attribute correctly, then with the correct labels they could see what artists influenced the output and pay them fair.
