Definitely one of the best videos I've seen on the topic. I think we will eventually merge AI, or Synthetic Intelligence, with our own brains. In this way, even when the biological component of our "self" dies off, what remains will still truly be part of us and allow for at least a minimalistic sense of immortality. However, with advances in bioengineering, accelerated by AI, we may be able to constantly replace individual brain cells as they die off. Then we will have achieved true immortality in every sense of the word. Eventually, you would not be able to tell the difference between your old biological body and your new synthetic one.
