Another thing about artists mimicking other artists is that there will always be a differentiation of a twist on the style that makes it unique. There have been many arguments between artists who feel their style has been too closely copied by another artist. To have one’s style be an inspiration for another is an honor, but having it straight copied can be a little frustrating as an art style can feel deeply personal. So an AI straight copying someone’s personal art style for profit is just a slap to the face of the original artist, and is like stealing a part of a person. Also I never understood why people would automate art. All forms of art like drawing, music, dance, etc are, to me, what make us human. Some people don’t like to draw but have a deep connection with music, and to automate music would be to take all the soul out of it. Please understand it can be frustrating to see something that is missing soul.
