The reason AI will be misused is greed. Rather than companies integrating it as a tool for people to use to do better work, corporations that are all about bottom lines and cutting cost will use it to replace the human component purely because it’s easier to manage and cheaper in the long run for the company. We absolutely need legislation around this for many reasons.
