If you felt something, it's art. Humans can make art with any tool. For ten minutes, I thought someone else got that... then suddenly it's all "the enemy," "the devil," "LESS HUMAN." Dial it back a bit, when describing a renderer.
Rejecting evidence to maintain a conclusion isn't pretentious, it's prejudiced. 'AI can't do [blank], and if it can, that doesn't count.' This is a zillion-dimensional continuous gradient between all styles and concepts. It can exaggerate jazz to sound more metal, more metal, more metal, pushing the difference beyond any human-authored input. If combining two genres is novel, this distillation of all art ever made has smooth gradients between everything that has a name.
What people pull from it is theirs, as much as anything they'd draw. They get no credit for skill - but if the idea alone counts, for a child's indecipherable scribble they call a horse, it also counts here. The stick figure of this medium is generic photorealism.
