People who play games ARE doing scripted content. What do you think games are? It's code. You can't do something outside the frame that the code makes. Your struggles ARE artificial and scripted. You just don't realise that.
I still like video games despite that.
Artists are just salty that there's some actual competition now. I bet you still use modern transport and benefit from heavy machinery despite how many jobs they took too.
Sentimentalism won't save your job and it won't make AI less good than it clearly is. Nothing inherently has meaning so it's what you infuse into it and AI can have just as much if not more than human made art.
Cry about it. You're on the block and discriminating against progress won't save you.
