Disabled artist here. The people who are saying that AI art is good for the disabled are the same people stealing art from disabled artists to feed AI. Many disabled people I know are artists, we need outlets, we need ways to support ourselves when we struggle with discrimination in hiring. So there are many disabled people among the pool of artists being stolen from to power Midjourney and similar AI.
Able bodied people are literally stealing art from disabled artists to make themselves feel good, then using the people they stole from as justification for it.
