And they wonder why mainstream media is dying. What a distorted piece of journalism. It talks about the accidents of self driving cars without doing a comparison with the status quo. I defy anyone to say they haven’t seen appalling driving from everyday motorists that has caused injury and death. If you want proof, look at the road toll. That’s all from human drivers! Tesla are trying to improve upon this and have done a brilliant job getting as far as they have. To keep the improvements coming,the system needs exposure to real world driving conditions, so they can keep improving it to the point where a drivers supervision is no longer required. What a breakthrough that will be. To be able to provide transport for the elderly, to take children to sport, to allow a person to work, relax or sleep whilst commuting. This is a revolution that will improve people’s lives and reduce road deaths in the long term and Tesla should be commended for it.
