AI has already reshaped humanity through social media and the machine learning behind the algorithms. AI, even an AGI (if such a thing is possible in its pure definition), will still need to affect the physical world and is still running on data centers and GPU/TPU. I find it funny that the tech morguls are saying that it will somehow magically change everything.
